Swift River claims Massachusetts man (New Hampshire Union Leader)

A 29-year-old was swept away in the rain-swollen waters of the Swift River at Lower Falls yesterday afternoon after slipping off a rock, officials said. No sign of the man was reported by nightfall, despite a multi-agency search and rescue effort. The search was suspended until morning.
