Strickland set for Olympic Trials today (Foster's Daily Democrat)

KAIT STRICKLAND Competing in U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha, Neb. NORTH BERWICK, Maine ? Kait Strickland might be a long shot to make the United States Olympic swim team for the 2008 Beijing Summer Games, but the North Berwick native and 2005 Noble High School graduate will have her chance.

Honorable mention (Foster's Daily Democrat)

Jacob A. Levenson, of Portsmouth, graduated from Portsmouth High School and received a degree in Environmental Studies and minored in African Studies.

Summer Camps (Foster's Daily Democrat)

DURHAM ? The Oyster River High School girls summer basketball camp will take place from June 30-July 3. The cost is $75 and the camp is for girls entering grades 3-8 next fall. It will run from 8:30 a. m. until noon.

H.S. Notebook: The sky s the limit for Stanton (Foster's Daily Democrat)

Noble High School's Anthony Stanton broke a 25-year-old record in the high jump at last Saturday's Maine Class A state track and field championships in Windham. Stanton cleared 6 feet, 10.25 inches and will compete in the New England championships this Saturday in Saco, Maine.
