School Consolidation Law Prompts Opposition and Distrust Amid Confusion (The Lincoln County News)

The new statewide school consolidation law had Bruce Hartford of Nobleboro out at the polls on June 10 collecting signatures to repeal it. Hartford, a full time mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, said he was able to collect 85 signatures in Nobleboro.
